The Misadventures of Granny's Dentures

Whats that now? What's that I hear?
Quietly creeping up the stairs,
Cunning canines, molars, grinders
Walking up in polished pairs.
They march right up, to the sweet tins
And sit upon the chocolate shelf,
Mint and candy, toffee too
Greedily they help themselves.
Get the toothbrush! Hurry! Quick!
Be on bacteria alert!
Bring them down, all those false toothies
Rid them from the face of the earth!
Here now comes the dainty tooth fairy,
But granny grabs her by her shin
She flings her back to fairy land
Then smiles her gummy toothless grin!

Hello darlings,

Burst the happy bubble didnt I ? Awww....sorry, I am. Just been caught up with the humdrum of real life that blogging days have gone whoosh out of the window!! Currently in the state called "UNINSPIRED" - so until a new idea transpires I shall continue my search for my muse (who has blissfully abandonned me!) Will pop-up at your blog when I resurface!

Hi. Hope inspiration comes along soon.

I've just seen your poem in the Mothers anthology. Have you seen it yet?

It looks great.
